Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt (TIPS) (Pediatric)

Figure 2 : Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS). A TIPS procedure was then performed using a Goretex-covered stent and the large varices were embolized via the TIPS stent. A post-TIPS and post-embolization portal venogram shows good flow through the shunt into the hepatic veins and IVC.
