Equipment

  • Cannula manually shaped into slight curve (useful addition to original procedure (Fig. 2)
  • Cut 0.8-mm ball of 0.018-inch guidewire with wire cutters (Fig. 3)
  • Song stent (Fig. 4) modification: cutting extreme end of stent off (“mushroom” head) so that it acquires cone-shaped opening (Fig. 5, Fig. 6, Fig. 7, Fig. 8)
